EUROPEAN MC GUIDELINES

The EMCG has received an UEG Activity Grant to establish the “European guideline on the management of microscopic colitis”.

In order to harmonize and standardize the clinical management of MC across Europe, a pan-European Clinical Practice Guidelines on MC are essential. The main topics are: MC concept and epidemiology, aetiology and pathogenesis, clinical manifestation, diagnosis, histopathology, treatment.
